Raveena had already addressed a leading daily about her thoughts on the remix of her song for Sooryavanshi when questioned about it. She said that she loves remixes and that it sounds 'Superb.'

Earlier Akshay Kumar took to Twitter when he got the news of recreating version of ‘Tip tip barsa Paani’ song.

He said, "I would've definitely been disappointed if any other actor would've recreated Tip Tip Barsa Paani, a song which has been synonymous with me & my career & I can't thank Ratan Jain ji enough. At times like these you realize, we may have come a long way but we also go back a long way."

Tanishq Bagchi composed the reprised version, and Farah Khan choreographed the song.  Farah has already shared her concept for the song with Rohit, and it's a seductive love ballad like the original. Because Akshay and Katrina are reuniting after almost a decade, the plan is to give their chemistry a new twist.

Likewise to Simmba, Ajay Devgn narrates this cop action saga, which reminds us of the various terror attacks that Mumbai has faced, from the 1993 serial blasts to the 2008 terror attack on several landmark locations in Mumbai, including The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). The plot of the film unfolds as the city prepares for the largest attack yet, with some Lashkar sleeper cells being activated and 600 kilograms of RDX left over from the 1993 serial bombings being utilised for the purpose.

DCP Veer Sooryavanshi arrives, armed with a solid objective and enough of garam khoon to defend the city from yet another major attack. He is so dedicated to his job that his family, including his wife Riya (Katrina Kaif) and son Aryan, come second to his enormous mission.

In the film, a doctor named Katrina Kaif is left with little choice but to deal with the repercussions of a shattered marriage, which is invaded by three larger-than-life officers exhibiting their services.

From Bell Bottom to Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar's performance is only a hop and a skip from one set to the next. His stride, as usual, is a true act in and of itself: a combination between a catwalk model and a superhero preparing to take flight. It's targeted for his fans.

Sooryavanshi, in the same way that Simmba hinted at what was to come in the following instalment, hints at what the future could hold for the Rohit Shetty cop universe. Prepare for another cops-versus-terrorists showdown, with Jackie Shroff's character getting more screen time than he did here. That might be something to expect.

Finally, the million-dollar question: is Sooryavanshi the film that Bollywood's post-pandemic period has been waiting for? Well I think YES, it is. It’s a huge Diwali treat for action lovers.
