KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya fined Rs 20 lakh each for their sexist remarks

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday imposed a hefty fine of Rs 20 lakh each on all-rounder Hardik Pandya and opener KL Rahul for their sexist on a Karan Johar talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’.

BCCI ombudsman DK jain directed both the players to donate a sum of Rs 1 lakh each to widows of 10 constables in paramilitary forces who have lost their lives on duty.

They have also been asked to pay Rs 10 lakh each in the fund created by Cricket Association for the blind, for promotion of game for the blind within 4 weeks. If they fail to do so, then BCCI will deduct the amount from their match fee.
