BJP gets fodder to attack Mamata with Kolkata cop blaming her in 'suicide note'

The WB government, however, is tight-lipped on the issue as of now

Mamata Banerjee, Kolkata Police, Suicide Note, Mukul Roy- True Scoop

Few days after Mamata Banerjee took on the centre in the CBI vs Kolkata Police row, BJP has found a new fodder to attack the West Bengal CM. A senior police officer in Kolkata has allegedly blamed the WB Chief Minister in his 'suicide note' for which the BJP leader Mukul Roy has demanded Mamata's arrest and a CBI probe into the case.

"This is for the first time in the history of West Bengal that a senior IPS officer committed suicide and blamed the government or a party leader," said Mukul Roy.

The alleged suicide note by the officer Gaurav Dutt accused Mamata Banerjee of deliberately keeping him on a 'compulsory waiting' abetting his suicide.

'Compulsory Waiting' is a punitive step of not giving a posting to an officer or withholding their dues.

Sources, however, make claims of the accusations not to be true and the officer was kept on 'compulsory waiting' on disciplinary grounds.
