Prayagraj: In a first, on Tuesday the Uttar Pradesh cabinet will hold a meeting at Prayagraj which is hosting the Kumbh Mela. The ministers and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take a dip in the holy waters of the Sangam after the UP cabinet meeting in Allahabad. CM as well as the other ministers of the UP cabinet will also pay a visit to the Saraswati Koop and Akshayvat.
According to reports, CM Adityanath and his cabinet members will be visiting Akshayvat and Saraswati Koop at about 10.30 am following which the cabinet will head to Swiss tents set up to host the meeting. Some of the key decisions that are likely to be taken during the cabinet meeting include pension for economically weaker section of the society and nomadic saints.
This is the first time the cabinet is meeting outside Vidhan Bhavan, the state Assembly in Lucknow.
