Voting for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will take place in Punjab on June 1 in the seventh phase. As only 21 days are left for the polls, most political parties have announced all their candidates. While AAP, Congress, SAD and BSP have announced their 13 candidates from all constituencies, BJP is yet to field its candidate from Sri Fategarh Sahib.

As the LS Polls are approaching and there is less than a moth remining for it, election campaigns have intensified. All the political parties have started filing their nominations and the last date announced for the same is 14th May 2024. Candidates from age group 35 to 80, all can be seen contesting for elections from different parties.

As per above list, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer from Aam Aadmi Party is the youngest candidate to contest election. He’ll be fighting the LS 2024 election from Sangrur. He is the sports minister of Punjab. Talking about the oldest, is Preneet Kaur from BJP who is 79 years old. Former Punjab CM Capt. Amarinder Singh’s family has always had a stronghold in Patiala. His wife Preneet Kaur is the only candidate who has won election from this constituency thrice i.e. in year 2004, 2009 and 2019.
