Along with the Saturday and Sunday, June 17 (Monday) has also been declared a holiday in the official list of holidays in 2024. In fact, June 15 is a Saturday and June 16 is a Sunday, the days on which government offices have a holiday. On Monday, June 17, there will be a holiday in government offices, other institutions and commercial units across the state as this day is the festival of Eid-ul-Juha (Bakrid). The Punjab government has declared this festival as a holiday in the list of official holidays for the year 2024.
