The episode of Kapil Sharma Show where famous singer Ed Sheeran was invited turned out to be most entertaining and heartwarming.
This episode was shot during Ed Sheeran’s visit to Mumbai for his Mumbai concert in March 2024. During the show famous comedian Kapil Sharma and singer Ed Sheeran indulging in some amazing conversations, humorous situations and many more. While speaking about Indian singer Ed Sheeran revealed that he loves listening to Bollywood songs. The singer further added that whenever he is on a flight, he tends to listen to Hindi songs as it makes him groove and is just amazing to listen to it. During this conversation, Ed Sheeran also talked about some of his favourite Indian rappers. The singer revealed that he is fond of listening to Divine and King. He also mentioned some of his favourite songs of theirs like ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ and ‘Mirchi.’
Ed Sheeran while talking to Kapil Sharma showed the love he has for Indian culture and food. He said that he loves eating Indian food and is fond of the spice that they add. He also shared his experience meeting the king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan., The singer stated that despite the massive fan following Badshah of Bollywood enjoys, he is the most down to earth person he has ever met. Talking about his trip to India, Ed Sheeran spoke ting a school in Dharavi which is considered as the biggest slum of Asia. The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show also featured a jam by Dharavi Reloaded Band.
What caught everyone’s attention was Ed Sheeran’s entry song. It was heartwarming to see how the singer mixed his famous song Shape of You with amazing Bhangra beats. He also sang the song ‘Perfect’ while the audiences were seen grooving on it and singing along with him.
