Ludhiana West By-Election Candidates
The Aam Aadmi Party has named Rajya Sabha member Sanjeev Arora as its candidate for the Ludhiana West assembly byelection. MP Sanjeev Arora, 63, a Ludhiana-based real estate developer, has been a member of the Rajya Sabha since 2022.
On the other hand, the Congress party has fielded former Cabinet Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu. He has previously been elected as MLA from this seat twice. He once had a strong influence in the constituency, but couldn’t withstand the AAP wave in 2022.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is yet to announce its candidate for the Ludhiana West By-Election 2025.
