Karnataka was named the overall team champion in both the boys' and girls' categories. Vedaant made his father proud earlier this month when he won bronze for India in the Latvian Open Swimming Championships.

Madhavan, the proud father, posted photographs and news on social media. "So very happy and proud of the Indian contingent that won one gold and 2 bronze at the Latvian open qualifiers. Congratulations @sajanprakash for making the Olympic B cut bro.. god bless you with huge victories. Congratulations @tanishgeorge and @vedaant_madhavan for getting the bronze for India. so so proud of you boys .. you won despite competing with way older and stronger swimmers .. wow And a huge grateful shout out to Pradeep Sir, Peter sir, Satish sir and Murgesh sir and @ansadxb for being the force behind Vedaant and his friends."

Madhavan's RHTDM just celebrated its 20th birthday. Madhavan became a household name among Hindi-speaking audiences as a result of the film. In the early 2000s, he was also promoted as a romantic hero. That image was remodelled when the actor starred in a variety of films, both traditional and unconventional, in order to broaden his performing horizons. The 51-year-old actor thought his 'best was yet to come.’

Madhavan said, ”I feel really inadequate right now," the actor said during a virtual session on day three of the India Film Project, speaking about his career. I don't think I'll ever get to that point. When a great star, politician, or leader hugs me and says or implies that he appreciates my work, or when I meet individuals from many walks of life may be that time I feel I am on the right path.
