Maharashtra Home Minister on Sushant Death Case: CBI should announce verdict as soon as possible

It is a jibe at the Central Bureau of Investigation because politically they had taken it as an insult that the case was taken away from the Mumbai police and handed over to the CBI.

Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has demanded a CBI probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant's case was handed over to CBI a month and a half ago. The case was handed over to the CBI by the Mumbai Police out of public sentiment. Therefore, now people are waiting for the result, said Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. He also tweeted that the Mumbai Police was investigating the matter.

People have been waiting for the last one and a half months to see the outcome of the CBI probe. Did Sushant Singh Rajput commit suicide or was he killed? When the case was suddenly handed over to the CBI, the Mumbai Police was conducting a thorough investigation. Therefore, the CBI should tell us the verdict as soon as possible, said Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case

On June 14, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Bandra. But then there was a single sensation all over the world, including Bollywood. One or more questions arose as to why Sushant committed suicide, whether anyone motivated him. This led to nepotism in Bollywood, his quarrel with his girlfriend Riya, money laundering, drug connections in Bollywood. The case was registered in Mumbai and Bihar. However, expressing doubts about the Mumbai Police, it was demanded that the case be handed over to the CBI. Meanwhile, several allegations were leveled between the Maharashtra Police and Bihar from the political arena. The case has been handed over to the CBI and the outcome of the probe is yet to be ascertained.
