Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday met AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal along with MLAs of Punjab at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. Kejriwal-Mann's meeting was buzzing with multiple claims that the AAP National Convenor may change the leadership in Punjab after the Delhi Elections 2025 setback. The claims of Punjab CM change intensified even more after LoP & Congress leader Pratap Bajwa said that 30 MLAs of AAP are in contact with him and are mulling to jump ships. Furthermore, Union Minister Ravneet Bittu called CM Bhagwant Mann as 'Thorey Din Ka Mehman'. While Punjab Miniter Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal refuted all the reports on Monday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann put a stamp that all the claims are mere rumors while addressing the media after meeting with Arvind Kejriwal.

Addressing the media, CM Mann said, "Our MLAs reached here and we had a meeting with party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. He thanked them all for campaigning during the Delhi Assembly elections. Our government in Punjab has always worked for the public welfare whether it’s in education or infrastructure sectors. We need to speed up… Winning and losing is a part of the game. People of Delhi still remember us as someone who worked for them. We have two years more in Punjab. We will make Punjab a good model."

CM Mann also listed the work done by his government in Punjab by outlining Aam Aadmi Clinics and improvement in law & order. "We will use the experience of Delhi in Punjab. We have already opened more than 300 Aam Aadmi Clinics in Punjab. Hospitals have been improved. Schools of Eminence are already operational and results of students have started to come in as well. Our party is known for its work and not for religious politics. We accept the mandate of the people in Delhi. We have decided that will make Punjab such a model in the next two years that we will show it to the country. Be it the development of cities, villages, farmers, and businesses, we will make Punjab a model state."

On Pratap Bajwa's claims of AAP MLAs thinking to switch parties

Responding to it, CM Mann said, " I would ask Pratap Singh Bajwa to count how many MLAs they have in Delhi... The law and order of Punjab is better than most states... We have to put in extra effort being a border state, and we are doing that..."

CM Mann also refuted reports that there might be a change in leadership in Punjab. 'Kehne do inko (let them say)', quipped CM Mann on being asked about change of Chief Minister in Punjab.
