The global spotlight falls on Hyderabad tonight as the 72nd Miss World 2025 Grand Finale takes place at the Hitex Exhibition Center. For a thrilling period from 6:30 pm to 1 am, the city will witness a dazzling spectacle with 3,500 guests present, while millions more watch live across the globe.
Current Miss World, Kristina Pyjkova, will transfer the crown to the next beauty and brain queen. The show is going to be full of high-octane glamour with Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle and in-demand Indian anchor Sachin Kumbhar hosting the event. Live performances are going to get the stage sizzling with Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khattar. Special guest Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will also be there.
The path to crown
The evening shall kick off with the meeting of 108 beautiful contestants worldwide. As the stakes get higher, the number of contestants shall decrease to the top 10 from each continent. Subsequently, the top 5 and then the top 2 shall be determined. Finally, four finalists—each representing a continent—shall present themselves to the judges for the ultimate question. The contestant whose response best pleases the judges shall be declared the new Miss World.
Will India create history with a seventh crown India is at the cusp of history, having already nurtured six Miss World titleholders: Rita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chhillar (2017). India is placed equally with Venezuela with the most Miss World titles. If Nandini Gupta wins the crown tonight, India will make history.
This is the third time India is hosting the Miss World finale, after events were held in Bengaluru (1996) and Mumbai (2024).
Star-studded jury and global telecast
The esteemed jury will be presided over by Sonu Sood and Sudha Reddy, with the support of Miss England 2024, Dr. Carina Turrell. Miss World Organization Chairperson Julia Morley will declare the winner.
