IAS MAINS Deepak Kumar Meena News: In a horrific development, a civil service aspirant named Deepak Kumar Meena's body was found totally decomposed & hanging from a tree in Mukherjee Nagar area in New Delhi. IAS Mains aspirant Deepak Kumar Meena was missing for the past few days and his parents were extensively searching for him with the help of the Delhi Police. As per reports, IAS aspirant Deepak Kumar Meena's decomposed body was found hanging from a tree in a forest area in northwest Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area, police said on Monday.
As per reports, Deepak Kumar Meena hailed from Rajasthan's Dausa. Deepak Kumar Meena's decomposed body or Deepak Kumar Meena skeleton remains was recovered from the forest area near a coaching institute library on September 20. He had been missing for several days. A senior police officer in the known development was quoted saying that Deepak Kumar Meena's death is suspected to be a suicide.
"CCTV cameras have been checked and it is suspected to be a case of suicide. A probe is underway," the officer said.
Deepak Kumar Meena's father CL Meena informed the police that his son arrived in Delhi in July to prepare for the Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) mains exam after qualifying the preliminaries. Meena used to call home every evening, his father informed adding that the IAS Mains aspirant last called on September 10, 2024.
When Meena did not call from September 11 to 13, his father reached Delhi and began his search. CL Meena also went to Meena's PG accommodation where his roommates told him that his son had not returned for two days. After this, he filed a complaint at Mukherjee Nagar police station.
During the searches, Meena's body was found in a forest area near the institute where he attended classes. It is suspected that he had gone to the forest area after class. Furthermore, Meena's bag was found hanging from the same tree, and added that no suicide note was recovered.
It is pertinent to mention here that the condition in which Deepak Kumar Meena's body was found has gone viral on X. Deepak Kumar Meena's decomposed dead body pic has sparked a huge uproar on social media with netizens demanding justice for the late aspirant.

Rajasthan government should also demand strict action against the culprits and provide justice to Deepak's family. It is very unfortunate that a student died in this manner. This has caused anger among the youth of the whole country. The Delhi government and administration should take strict action regarding this as soon as possible"
Another user wrote, "The body of Deepak Kumar Meena, a resident of village Balin, who was preparing for IAS MAINS in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, was found under suspicious circumstances after 10 days. It is very unfortunate that a student died in this manner, it has caused anger among the youth of the entire country. #JusticeForDeepakMeena."
