Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a successful politician and is serving India as a Prime Minister for the third time. He has turned 74 today. PM Modi is known for his brave decisions and leadership skills. He has been confident and brave since his childhood. Here are some of the interesting incidents of PM Modi’s childhood that he has shared in the books written on him.

He played with Crocodiles

Narendra Modi has shared an incident where he played with crocodiles in the lake. He shared that once he had also brought a baby crocodile his home along with him. But his mother asked him to put the crocodile back in the lake. He revealed that he has even swam through a lake infested with crocodiles in order to hoist a flag on the top of a temple.

This incident highlights his bravery since childhood. He has shown his bravery as a PM during the surgical strike against Pakistan as the decision could have triggered a war between the two countries.

His Peelu Phool Play

Peelu Phool is a play written and staged by Modi in his school days. It is believed that Modi got inspired to write this play when he observed a priest scolding an untouchable woman who belonged to a lower caste. In the play Modi highlighted the pain of an untouchable woman who just wanted to enter the temple and worship the lord. Modi himself belongs from a lower caste of Teli Ghanchi. Modi believes in social justice and BR Ambedkar is an important icon of his party.

Modi helped in winning the Kabaddi Match

Modi studied in B N High School in Vadnagar, Gujrat. Once an intra-school kabaddi match took place in his school. One of the two teams had younger players and were always defeated in the Kabaddi matches. The players of the loosing team asked help from Modi and asked for a strategy that can help them in winning the kabaddi match. 

Modi observed the tricks and techniques of the winning team. He observed the winning moves of the dominant team and then trained the team of younger playeras accordingly. As a result, his team won. Since childhood, Modi is good in observing the opposition team and training his team according the obsevations made.
