PM Modi to visit Jalandhar, election rally to be held at THIS venue; know details

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving at PAP Chowk in Jalandhar today, i.e. 24th May at 4 pm. Preparations have been completed for therally to be held at the PAP stadium ground. A 60-feet long stage has been prepared in the ground, on which seating arrangements have been made for 30 VIPs, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A huge pandal has been made in front of it with 25,000 chairs. Apart from this, high quality sound system, BJP flags and cut-outs of Narendra Modi have also been installed in the pandal

On the other hand, strict security arrangements have been in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from the district administration, central security agencies have also become active. The teams deployed for the security of the Prime Minister reached Jalandhar two days ago. The entire command of security will remain in his hands. After the pandal is ready, no one will be allowed inside without thorough checking.

Arrangements to keep cool during the scorching summer heat

Keeping the heat in view, arrangements for fans, coolers, lights, and drinking water have been made in the rally pandal. Due to security, water bottles will not be allowed in the pandal, hence BJP leaders have made proper arrangements of water tankers so that people do not have to face trouble due to the scorching summer heat.

No civil aircraft, drones, or helicopter in the limits of Jalandhar district

On the other hand, Additional District Magistrate, Jalandhar Major Dr. Amit Mahajan, using his powers under Section 144, has banned any kind of civil remote/piloted aircraft system/drone/helicopter within the limits of District Jalandhar. Flying of VVIP aircraft etc. has also been banned. This order will be applicable from 1 pm to 9 pm on May 24.
