Mohit Mohindra takes over charge of Youth Congress Chief of Punjab on Thursday. Mohit Mohindra is the son of former minister Brahm Mohindra. He replaced Barinder Dhillon.
In the long process to elect various office-bearers of the state Youth Congress unit, Mohit got 2,40,600 votes against Akshay Sharma, who got 1,57,433 votes followed Udhayvir Singh Dhillon 13,944 votes. Udhayvir is the son of senior Congress leader Dipinder Dhillon
Several senior leaders were present on the occasion including BV Srinivas president Indian Youth Congress, Raja Warring president Punjab congress, Pratap Singh Bajwa LOP, Brahm Mohindra, Raj Chabbewal, Sukhpal Khaira, Kuljit Nagra, Gursharan Kaur Randhawa and others.
