Sidhu Moosewala’ official statement comes out after ‘Moosa Jatt’ Fails To Obtain Certification From Censor Board

Sidhu Moosewala and his followers were excited to see Moosa Jatt, the artist's debut film as a lead role. It was one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year, and Punjabi viewers were just about to see it when the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) refused to authorise its distribution in India.


For the first time, Sidhu Moosewala has issued an official statement following the film's refusal for release in India. He posted a few of posts on the issue. This isn't the first time something like this has occurred to him, according to the top artist. He had to face many hurdles when he initially began his singing career, and fate is repeating itself as he prepares to release his debut film.

He went on to remark that throughout the early phases of his singing career, he was dubbed "new" and disregarded, and that many in the film business still say the same thing now. But Sidhu retorted to them all, claiming that in this world, the "new" people are truly the "old," and that he is unquestionably one of them. He's seen the world's colours, and Moosa Jatt may be his first film, but it won't be his last. ‘I have never run away from a challenge; if the first picture fails to receive a censor certificate, the second will follow, and then the third,' stated Sidhu.

He stated that the film's release date has not been modified despite the fact that it failed to receive certification in India. In the rest of the world, it will be released on time, and he will never modify the release dates of his films. He cited the film's support for farmers as the cause for the ban.

The artist stated in a follow-up piece that certain people would come after him, accusing him of provoking problems. Sidhu said that he is as comfortable on the outside as he is on the inside. He concluded his social media message by stating that the video was prohibited since it supported farmers and was his debut film.

Rrupaali Gupta, the producer, appeared in an official news conference held by the Moosa Jatt team following the censor problem and blame the Chal Mera Putt 3 crew for the film's failure to get censor certification.
