A video from Muktsar district of Punjab is going viral on various social media platforms and has left the viewers stunned. The video surfacing shows a unique way adopted by the people of Punjab for thieves.
Reportedly, the video coming to the fore is from Punjab’s Muktsar district where a youth was tied to the bonnet of a moving truck as a punishment for stealing wheat from the truck. As per information, the youth shown in the video was accused of stealing 2 bags of wheat from a truck after which he was tied to the bonnet by the truck driver and his helper and was taken to the police station.
In the video that has gone viral, it can be seen that a man has been tied with a rope to the bonnet of truck while the driver is sitting inside it. A helper is also there sitting in front of the truck who can be seen telling everyone about what the accused has done. Muktsar Police have said that they have received two videos regarding the incident, one in which the accused can be clearly seen stealing wheat while the second video shows the same man tied to the truck. Police have said that action will be taken after knowing every detail of the incident.
Through the video, it is visible that the truck driver’s aim was not to harm the thief which is why the helper supporting the accused was also sitting on the bonnet so that the accused doesn’t fall. This was just a way adopted by driver to teach the accused a lesson.
