On Wednesday afternoon, India's only two individual gold medalists in the Olympics came together, with Abhinav Bindra, the 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medalist, welcoming Neeraj Chopra, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics gold medal winner, at his farmhouse near Zirakpur.
Chopra has been busy since winning gold in the javelin throw event at the Tokyo Olympics on August 7 last month, according to sources, and could finally see Bindra on Wednesday. Bindra gave Chopra a Golden Retriever puppy named Tokyo and wished him in the next Olympics.
