One week has passed since the Mercedes-Benz EQA made its debut in India, where it is presently priced at ₹ 66 lakh (ex-showroom India). This is the most affordable Mercedes compact crossover on the market, sharing a platform with the GLA, which made its debut earlier this year. The Mercedes-Benz EQA is the company's fourth battery electric vehicle (BEV) in India, following the EQB, EQE, and EQS. Mercedes plans to release the Maybach EQS EV and the Gelandewagen, popularly known as the electric G-Class, as two more electric vehicles (EVs) in the Indian market by the end of 2024. Reservations for the EQA are now open, and delivery is expected to begin at the end of 2024 or the start of 2025.

The Mercedes-Benz EQA has a WLTP range of 560 km with a 7.5-kWh battery pack; in actuality, this range should only be about 450 km.
If you have access to a 100 kW DC fast charger, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in less than 40 minutes. Even with a standard 11 kW AC wallbox charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in just over seven hours. With a peak torque of 385 Nm and 140 kW, the powertrain can accelerate to 100 km/h in approximately 8 minutes and 6 seconds. The vehicle has a top speed of 160 kmph.
