CORI robotic HiP replacement carried out live at National level 2 day live surgery workshop conducted. More than 300 doctors from all over North india and from as far as Hyderabad, Gujarat and J&K participated in the conference.
Leading arthroplasty surgeons of the country Dr Shubhang Aggarwal from NHS Hospital, Jalandhar, Dr Narender Vaidya of Pune, Dr Krishna Kiran of Hyderabad, Dr Vaibhav Bagaria of Mumbai, Dr Rakesh Rajput of Kolkata performed thes robotic surgeries in OT of NHS Hospital, Jalandhar.
Dr Shubhang Aggarwal Director NHS Hopsital and Head of department of orthopaedics informed the press that Robotic assisted surgeries are being performed by him at NHS Hospital Jalandhar for the past 5 years. And Robotic hip replacement was done live for the first time.
He also informed that a handful surgeons can do Shoulder Replacement Surgery and he is performing it at NHS hospital for past 2-3 years regularly with excellent results.
The show was carried out under banner of indian Arthroplasty association and was inaugurated by President Dr Ajith Kumar, Mangalore
