All the speculations of an alliance of Congress with Aam Aadmi Party have fell flat on Tuesday after the two hour meeting called by Rahul Gandhi concluded in the afternoon. The former Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit, came out after the meeting and told the media sources that there would be 'no alliance' with Aam Aadmi Party.

Aam Aadmi Party, however, were up for some negotiations as reported by the sources but the Indian National Congress have decided to contest in Delhi by themselves.

Aam Aadmi Party lost all the seats in Delhi in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections to BJP but made a strong comeback in 2015 Assembly Elections bagging 67 out of 70 seats from the National Capital.

This has also reiterated the claims of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh of not having an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab.
