In the video, Indian students were seen chanting '(Oxford) Union stands with terrorism." As per reports, the protesting students at Oxford University also claimed that some of the panelists had links to organisations being investigated for ties to terrorism. They also stated how the Kashmiri Hindu community had been terrorised and were forced to flee Kashmir.
As per reports, the panelists included Dr Muzammil Ayyub Thakur, who heads the Justice Foundation and Kashmir Freedom Movement, and Professor Zafar Khan, chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) diplomatic bureau. Adarsh Mishra an Indian student confronted the debating society and said, "JKLF is a terrorist organisation that massacred many Kashmiri Pandits. JKLF killed a Hindu government official in Birmingham." He was referring to the 1984 murder of Indian diplomat Ravindra Mhatre, who was kidnapped and killed by a Kashmiri man associated with JKLF in 1984.
Adarsh Mishra's video is also going viral on social media. He further said, 'I do not believe in this House. I move a no-confidence motion against the Speaker because most of the members of this House do not believe in the Speaker. The Speaker is nothing but a puppet of the ISI, he is a puppet of Pakistan. This member has no faith in the Speaker.' After this statement of his, there was noise in the House. British Hindus were furious over this proposed program of the Oxford Union.
