Parchhayee: Ghost Stories by Ruskin Bond is one of those web series which frightens the viewers in every episode and makes them feel such a strong sensation of eerie that does not die till the end of every episode.

Conversations about ghosts are often at the centre of debates and arguments about their existence. The stories that are able to touch your emotions feel as real as they possibly can. Parchhayee Episode 9, sends the same vibe as it is based on Karma which the majority of people in India and across the world believe in.

Parchhayee: Ghost Stories by Ruskin Bond, is an anthology series, with characters and plots that leave will your mind stunned. Along with that, there are exceptional scene settings, delivery of dialogues, cinematography and sound effects. With the conclusion of every episode, a moral message is delivered to its viewers. 

Parchhayee Episode 9, has been titled as ‘Night of the Millennium’. The story starts with Jimmy (Naveen Kasturia) placing a bid to buy a house which later turns out to be a desolated, haunted place. Once Jimmy and Akshara, played by the famous actress Gauhar Khan, shift to the haunted house, they start encountering weird and creepy happenings such as lighting up of paintings.  Akshara starts seeing dead people around her and many unexpected incidents begin to happen around her.

Parchhayee episode 9, brings forth the theme of Karma. In Hindu mythology, it is said that whatever you do good or evil, the same will return to you. This storyline of this episode is based upon this saying. In the episode, it is Jimmy past acts that come back to haunt, indirectly putting stress on how Karma always comes into the picture, especially when you commit wrongdoings.

The entire episode has been set up in the dark settings of the haunted villa, which induces more scare and also binds the audience with its suspense.  The desolated house used in the series also adds on to the feeling of horror in the audience.

Talking about performances, Gauhar Khan and Naveen did an amazing job throughout the episode but especially in the climax part. The same can be said about Ruhi Singh. All of them deliver power-packed performances just like other renowned actors did in past episodes.

Previous episodes have starred many leading actors like Shakti Kapoor, actress Raima Sen, Sarah Jane Dias, Farida Jalal, and Amol Parashar.

From episode one to nine, all are covered with some amazing striking scenes which will leave you thrilling, intrigued and in some cases, heartbroken. On top of that, this horror series does not come without some sort of latent message or meaning to it. For instance, in this particular episode 9 of Parchhayee, Karma is the centre of this plot and the episode, very craftily, highlights how one actions have eventual repercussions to it.
