Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) candidate from Patiala, NK Sharma’s brother is reportedly being blackmailed by his servant. The servant of Yadvinder Sharma, first committed theft in his house. When he was caught, he was fired from his job following which the accused started blackmailing the family. The accused demanded Rs 25 lakhs from the family. He also warned that if he was not paid, he would make the objectionable photos of his children viral.
NK Sharma's brother Yadvinder Sharma, resident of Zirakpur, is the councilor of ward number 22. He told that for about six months, Suraj Kumar, 23, resident of Uttar Pradesh, was hired as a servant for cleaning. The accused allegedly started stealing household items which Yadwinder found out about on April 21. Then he caught him and took him to the police station but he was let go without any further action.
As per reports, Yadvinder Sharma received a voice message from Suraj at around 2 pm on April 23. In the message sent to Yadwinder’s wife, Suraj threatened to make the wrongly taken photos of their children viral. Then Yadwinder called Suraj on WhatsApp to inquire about the case when he threatened to give him Rs 25 lakh, otherwise he would make the photos viral.
As per reports, Zirakpur police station has registered a case of extortion against the accused Suraj Kumar, resident of Gonda UP.
