The accident happened on the very day of Karman's sister's wedding, transforming a day meant for celebration into one filled with mourning and loss for the family. Jatinder Singh's brother-in-law, who was accompanying them to the nearby market, had been driving ahead and lost sight of them on the way. Upon returning home, he received the devastating news of their fatal accident.

Responding swiftly to the tragedy, well-trained members of the Road Safety Force arrived at the scene. They carefully covered the bodies and meticulously began investigating the cause of the collision. The severity of the accident was evident, with parts of the victims scattered across the road.

Police also reached the scene and collected the scattered remains, placing them in a body bag. The Police stated that they received news of the accident around 6:00 AM. Their initial investigation revealed a motorcycle and a locked tipper truck at the scene. The truck driver was found approximately 1 kilometer away. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway.
