Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a key meeting in which all the key officials for security and intelligence have been invited to discuss on the India-Pakistan front after the violation by Pakistan Air Force jets into Indian Aerospace.

The present officials in the key meeting headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi were Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor and senior officials of the Indian Armed forces.

Earlier in the day, MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that one F16 jet of Pakistan Air Force has been shot down by the Indian Air Force and one Indian jet is missing along with the pilot and India is yet to ascertain the missing pilot to be captured by Pakistan forces.

“The Pakistan Air Force was detected and the Indian Air Force responded instantly,” Kumar said confirming the Pakistani intrusion into Indian territory.
