The people of Bengal are our inspiration, energy and strength," PM Narendra Modi said targeting Mamta Banerjee at a rally in Bengal.

"The Congress has shown it does not care for the Supreme Court that has said instant triple talaq is not valid. The Congress is not only trying to resist the triple Talaq Bill in Parliament, it is also trying to destroy the bill. Let me assure my Muslim sisters that we will bring the law against instant triple talaq," added PM Narendra Modi.

The current state government is following in the footsteps of the Communists. Didi wants to become the PM, leaving the middle class and the poor at the mercy of alliance of syndicate. Didi government welcomes infiltrators but stops BJP leaders, says PM Modi.

He also added that all those who are associated with 'Mahamilawat' and protecting scamsters will not be spared.

"North Bengal is known for three Ts - tea, timber and tourism. All three were neglected by all the previous state governments. The government never paid attention to the sustained development of this region, also this is a ‘tea-relation’. You grow tea, I make the tea," said PM Narendra Modi.

Modi promised that his govt will be taking all efforts to provide the best facilities to the poor, workers employed in tea plantation fields would be entitled to pension, which will benefit around 40-42 crore workers working in the unorganized sector. They will get pension after attaining the age of 60.

He insisted that BJP has uprooted the red flag in Tripura, whatever happened there will happen in West Bengal too. All the facilities you are getting are being done from Delhi by the Central government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the four-laning of the Falakata, Salsalabari section of NH-31 D and inaugurates New High Court Circuit Bench in Jalpaiguri.
