Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and the entire team of Salaar announced an update on the film on Sunday. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 14 in 2022. The lead star of the film Prabhas shared a fresh poster from the film on social media. The rebel star can be seen sporting an intense look, wearing sunglasses Sharing the update on the film, Prabhas wrote in his caption: "Delighted to share the release date of Salaar... 14th April 2022. See you in cinemas." He added the hashtags #Salaar14Apr22 to his post.
Hombale Films, who produced the superhit KGF franchise, will be bankrolling this film as well. The first schedule of Salaar was wrapped up in Hyderabad and soon the next schedule of Salaar will resume.

Team Salaar announces date
Team Salaar took to social media to announce the release date of the action flick. Unveiling the new poster of Salaar, the makers announced that the film will worldwide on April 14, 2022.
Hombale Films, the production house of Salaar, announcing the release date of the film, share a new poster and wrote, "Rebelling Worldwide #Salaar on April 14, 2022. We can't wait to celebrate with you all #Salaar14Apr22 (sic)."

Kannada hit KGF's director Prashanth Neel will be directing Salaar and will be produced by KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur. The film is an action saga.
Prabhas best-known for his multilingual film Baahubali series, directed by SS Rajamouli, made him a household name across the country. He was last seen with Shraddha Kapoor in the 2019 action-thriller Sahoo. Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will be seen beside Deepika Padukone in Nag Ashwin's next. Recently, his next release Radhe Shyam, co-starring Pooja Hegde is also in the line-up. Prabhas will also feature in Om Raut's Adipurush, co-starring Saif Ali Khan.
