During her rally at Fatehgarh Sahib, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that this is the land of martyrs. I am a martyr's daughter, a martyr's granddaughter. The BJP government did not even listen to the farmers. The truth is that BJP leaders do not understand Punjab. All policies are just for billionaires."
Priyanka Gandhi had come to Fatehgarh Sahib to hold a rally in support of Lok Sabha candidate Dr. Amar Singh. Priyanka Gandhi said that not a single scheme is for the middle class. These people do not talk about inflation and unemployment.
"Remember your life struggles. Remember that there is no surety of PM Modi. The laws they (BJP) thought of implementing would have affected you badly. Look what they have done to the farmers of Himachal Pradesh. Farmers there used to produce and export apples but they (BJP) gave all the cold storage to Adani," added Priyanka Gandhi.
