In Sohana, Mohali, two PTI teachers mounted on a water tank are persistently protesting against the Punjab government for not giving them jobs. Sippy Sharma, a physical education teacher who has been protesting since the Congress government, claimed that the Punjab government of AAP has been making false promises to them for seven months.

She claimed that before the election, Arvind Kejriwal, the convener of the AAP, had visited the Mohali water tank and promised to provide jobs for all 646 PTIs if the AAP formed the government. However, they were cheated in the name of jobs.

Sippy Sharma said that before the elections, Bhagwant Mann and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal considered her as a sister. The Punjab government is still not paying attention to them even after this relationship. Even before this, Sippy Sharma had demanded from CM Mann to let her tie Rakhi to him, but the administration has not permitted her to do so. 646 PTI Teachers have been protesting for the job for a year.

Feeling cheated by the governments in Punjab till now, Sippy Sharma climbed the water tank carrying a bottle full of petrol. Local police arrived at the scene after being informed of this, but Sippy Sharma refused to end the demonstration. She has urged the release of the merit list from CM Bhagwant Mann, CM Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, and the Education Minister.
