The counting of votes for Punjab Byelections 2024 began on Saturday and the fate of four constituencies is all set to unravel. The four constituencies that underwent Byelections are- Dera Baba Nanak, Gidderbha, Chabbewal, and Barnala. As per the Election Commission of India's Early Trend (at 10: 40 am), Congress is leading in Dera Baba Nanak and Barnala, while the Aam Aadmi Party is leading in Gidderbha and Chabbewal.
In Dera Baba Nanak, Congress candidate Jatinder Kaur Randhawa is leading with 1295 votes, while AAP's candidate Gurdeep Singh Randhawa is trailing at number 2.
In Chabbewal, AAP candidate Dr. Ishank Kumar is leading with 10,409 votes, while Congress's Ranjit Kumar is trailing at number 2.
In Gidderbaha, Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon is leading by 3972 votes, while Congress candidate Amrita Warring (MP Raja Warring's wife) is trailing at number 2.
In Barnala, Congress candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhillon is leading with 2267 votes, while AAP's candidate Harinder Singh Dhaliwal is trailing at number 2.
