Taking stern action towards the viral video, which is doing rounds on the internet, Punjab Education Department has abstained the school Principal for misbehaving with the girl student.
The incident is said to have taken place in GSSS(G) school based in Ropar, Punjab where the institute's chief has allegedly misbehaved with the girl scholar. The Principal has been identified as Anju Chaudhary, who has now been sent on forced leave by the state education department.
The Punjab Education Department has also constituted a committee to enquire into the matter and submit its report within a period of 15 days.

By the time the enquiry committee completes its report Smt. Anju Chaudhary, Principal, GSSS(G) Ropar shall abstain from attending the school and she will be on forced leave during this period.
Till that time Deputy DEO(SE) Mr. S.P. Singh will hold the additional charge of the school for 15 days.
