Going to Canada is a dream for students of India, especially for those who reside in Punjab. Their death in Canada often comes as a shock to their family. A Punjabi youth has recently committed suicide in Canada.
According to the information, the young man was mentally disturbed due to financial constraints. The deceased has been identified as Arshdeep Verma, a resident of Gagga village in Patiala. Arshdeep's friends are trying to send his body back to India.
In May 2019, Arshdeep Verma had come to Canada on a study visa. Here he was studying at Cambridge College in Ontario, but since the Corona period he was struggling with financial constraints, due to which he became a victim of depression and he took such an extreme step.

Due to Corona, many educational institutions in Canada have been closed, due to which Punjabi's are facing many problems. A person spends 8-10 lakhs for going to Canada and ends up losing it under such circumstances. Therefore, various protests are taking place in certain cities of Punjab demanding their money back from such colleges.
