Not only Kundra, but also Ryan Thorpe, another suspect in the case, has been sentenced to 14 days in judicial detention, according to reports. In the meantime, the crime branch had previously conducted a raid at Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's apartment and recovered the server. They also obtained over 70 porn tapes, which were allegedly shot by Kundra's former PA Umesh Kamat.

Not only this. Shilpa was also interrogated regarding her alleged role in the case. However, the actress has stated that she is unconnected to the racket and that her spouse is not involved in the production of pornographic video.

The sources also claim that police official stated that “She (Shilpa Shetty) had told that the films available on Hotshot are erotica, not pornography. She further stated that similar content is now available on numerous OTT sites, some of which are even more obscene than what is available on Hotshot”.

Raj Kundra also said the videos might be described as "lascivious" but do not show "explicit sexual acts".

According to the police investigation, the businessman used ‘Hotshots’ for streaming porn content. The app is already under the radar of the Crime Branch and it was removed from the Google Play Store for Android phone users and Apple’s App Store prior to his arrest.
