Rakul Preet Singh has earned a special place in the hearts of her fans over the years. She has appeared in films and won hearts with her outstanding performances. Now, the actress is set to appear in a new film titled Chhatriwali, with a unique role. Rakul Preet is set to play a condom tester in the film and has unveiled her first look on social media.


Since Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP announced their project starring Rakul Preet Singh as a condom tester, it has caught the interest of audiences. The social family entertainer Chhatriwali features Rakul in a never-seen-before, unique character.

The actress revealed her first look in the film on social media. Rakul posted a photo of her holding a large packet of condom in front of her face, with only her eyes visible through the opening. Chhatriwali is written on the packet.

Desperate for work, an unemployed female chemistry graduate in small-town Karnal becomes a condom tester, a secret she must conceal from everyone around her. Chhatriwali is a quirky drama and another new high-concept film from the production company known for bringing groundbreaking subjects to audiences.


Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar directs the film, which also stars Satish Kaushik, Sumeet Vyas, and Dolly Ahluwalia.

"Our film is a social family entertainer that aims to de-stigmatize the use of condoms," says director Tejas Deoskar, "and we are truly excited that the film has gone on floors."

"Rakul brings new life to every role she plays, and with such a sensitive, thought-provoking subject as this, the audience will undoubtedly enjoy a comedy roller-coaster ride," he adds.

Sharing her excitement over the film, Rakul says, "It's quite an interesting and hatke subject and I am very excited about commencing the journey of my character."


"It's important to highlight some issues in a lighthearted manner, and that has piqued my interest," she said.
