Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia on Saturday evening issued his second apology to his followers and people for his insensitive remarks on parents he made at the India's Got Latent show. In a disturbing note, Ranveer Allahbadia shared that he is getting death threats, and also people disguised as patients entering his mother's clinics. Furthermore, the 'BeerBiceps' podcaster refuted reports that he has been missing and not co-operating with the Police officials. Allahbadia stated that he is scared but not running away as many media portals quoting Mumbai Police sources have reported.
Ranveer shared a note on social media that read, "My team and I are cooperating with the police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and be available to all agencies. My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better and I am genuinely sorry. I'm watching death threats pour in from people saying that they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother's clinic posing as patients. I'm feeling scared and I don't know what to do. But I'm not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India."
Following this, Ranveer got tons of support in his comment section by social media influencers. Idea Man wrote, "10 years of Fame 800 powerful personalities came to do there personal branding on TRS & when it comes to your tough time no one is standing to save you, just for one abusive word? Really shameful."
Influencer Deepanshu Raj wrote, "To err is human, to forgive is divine ..For 10 years, you have inspired millions in this country to become better individuals through your podcasts and fitness, fashion, and self-help content-and I am surely one of them..What you said was very, very wrong, but after all, you are human too! We’re glad you realized your mistake and aren’t justifying it. Come back stronger & better, champ."
Notably, India Today reported that Ranveer Allahbadia was unreachable to Mumbai Police officials, with his phone switched off and his residence was locked. The Mumbai Police also said that they couldn't reach Ranveer Allahbadia's lawyer either.
