Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh reached Bittu's residence to debate with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday. The security did not allow them to enter and stopped at the gate itself. This led to a scuffle between security and Chandigarh police officials.

Chandigarh police officials said that they did not have permission, so the convoy of Bittu stopped. Officials tried to force the driver of the pilot vehicle to get off. Even after getting out of the car, the police officers kept arguing with the security officer. Bittu said, 'I came here alone. They gave insults. If I want to detain, do it. I will complain to the Home Department.

Controversy over blocking the road

A video of the entire incident has also surfaced. In which the officials are saying that you have blocked the road. Following this, a scuffle broke out between the driver and the officials. The driver of the pilot vehicle tells the police officials that the Ministry of Home Affairs has given him (Bittu) security. How can we leave them alone? Who will be responsible if something happens to them? We have been sent by the Home Ministry.

They are doing their duty. We have all India duty. On this, the officials say you do your duty and let us do our duty. You can't block the road like this.

DSP said- Bittu did not have permission

Chandigarh Police DSP Udaypal said that Union Minister Ravneet Bittu was going to the residence of the Punjab CM when asked for permission to meet him, he came to know that he did not have permission. After which they were not allowed to go further.
