RCB's victory celebration in Bengaluru turned tragic when a stampede broke out outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. According to the information, three people, including a woman and two men, have died in the stampede amid a huge crowd outside the stadium.
The accident happened when thousands of people gathered to go to the stadium to celebrate RCB winning the IPL trophy after 18 years. According to reports, during the celebration, the crowd suddenly became uncontrollable outside and inside the stadium, causing chaos. Many people were crushed, and dozens were injured. The condition of many of the injured is said to be critical.
Emergency services are present at the spot and the injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals. The police administration is investigating the whole matter. The identity of the deceased has not been made public yet. Reacting to the accident, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said, "I cannot confirm the exact number of dead or injured yet, but I am going to the spot."
