Today it’s the first death anniversary of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan. Irrfan died on 29 April 2020 at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after fighting a battle of cancer for two years. The reason for his death is stated as Kidney complications. After the death of the actor, there was a deep silence in the Bollywood world. Actress Nimrat Kaur, who shared the screen with Irrfan Khan in the film 'The Lunchbox', believes Irrfan's mere presence was enough for a frame.

During her conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Nimrat shared some special memories associated with Irrfan. Nimrat said, "It feels very strange to talk about Irrfan in the past, it is still hard to believe that they are no longer with us. Without Irrfan, Indian cinema is not the same as before. Unfortunately, I did a film with him but did not work. During the shoot of one day of our film 'The Lunchbox', both of us were present at a location. We shot a scene there but there was no dialogue between us. However, Irrfan's mere presence was enough for one frame. Obviously, at that time it seems that I would get more opportunities to work with Irrfan, but it did not happen. Even today when I think about it I feel strange. Wanted to work together, but perhaps destined something else. "

During the conversation, Nimrat revealed that he was already aware of Irrfan's illness and at that time he was sure that he would definitely win this disease battle. The actress further adds, "Believe me, he was a very extraordinary person. The command he had on his language was really I was very good, he did not need any vocabulary as an actor. The way he interacted with people, he would look as if he did not take himself seriously”.
