The results of a startling new poll suggest that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak may become the first prime minister to lose their position in a general election. According to a YouGov survey released on Wednesday, the opposition Labour Party in Britain is expected to secure the most seats in the party's history at an election on July 4. The UK Conservatives, led by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, might not be pleased with this. Numerous nationwide surveys have projected the party's crushing defeat.

On July 4, UK voters will cast ballots to choose their representatives to the House of Commons, the lower house of the British Parliament. In addition, a survey has indicated that a large number of current ministers are anticipated to lose their home constituencies. Since the party came to power in 2010, it appears that the anti-incumbency movement is gaining ground in the party. Labour was expected to win 425 seats, while Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Conservatives were predicted to win 108, according to the multilevel regression and post-stratification (MRP) poll. It was predicted that Nigel Farages Reform UK would win five seats. It stated that it would give Labour a majority of 200.

An estimated 40000 voters were surveyed by YouGov between June 11 and June 18, 2018. Comparing that to its most recent MRP poll, which was released earlier this month before Farage entered the race, it indicated that the Conservatives would win 140 seats and Labour 422 seats. In addition, current ministers Alex Chalk and Jeremy Hunt are predicted to lose their seats, according to a poll conducted among forty thousand people. In addition, Penny Mordaunt is predicted to lose. A number of other Cabinet ministers, such as Simon Hart Johnny Mercer Mel Stride Victoria Prentis and Grant Shapps are predicted to lose the next elections.
