Performance of Preity Zinta’s team in IPL 2025:
The starting for the Punjab Kings was rocky but eventually, the team bounced back and made it to the final after defeating Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2.
The star player for the team was undoubtedly Shreyas Iyer, who sailed the team to the final with his expectational batting skills and strategic appeal.
It is the second time that the teams will be facing each other in the IPL final, for the last time the teams played in 2014. Notably, the teams will be focusing on their first IPL title and set for a historic clash on June 3.
Shreyas Iyer scored a captain's knock, remaining unbeaten on 87 off 41 balls, with five fours and eight sixes. Iyer along with Nehal Wadhera (48) reversed the momentum of the game, particularly in overs 13 and 14, where he hammered England pacer Reece Topley for three successive sixes.
