‘Sex Education’ Season 3 Brings Madness, Merriment, Porn And Many More At Moordale

'Sex Education Season 3' opens with a delectable montage of couples enjoying sex. Season 2 closed with alien erotica specialist Lily (Tanya Reynolds) performing her numerous penis-ed musicals, and Otis (Asa Butterfield) proclaiming his love for bad girl Maeve (Emma Mackey), only to have his message deleted by her caravan park neighbour Isaac (George Robinson), who has feelings for her.

Otis' mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson), learns she's pregnant, and Adam (Connor Swindells), the son of headmaster Groff (Alistair Petrie), admits his affections for Otis' closest buddy Eric (Ncuti Gatwa).

After Groff is requested to go on leave, Hope (Jemima Kirke) is appointed as the new head teacher at Moordale for the new school year. To the astonishment of his peers, Otis has hooked up with the super-popular Ruby (Mimi Keene) during the holidays. Jean is attempting to get the guts to inform Jakob (Mikael Persbrandt) of the pregnancy. Ola (Patricia Allison), Jakob's daughter, whom Otis dated, is now dating Lily and attempting to understand her.

As Adam struggles to come to grips with his sexuality and his feelings for Rami (Sami Outalbali), his father must rejigging his life as well. Things are looking grim for him, with no work and a probable divorce from his long-suffering wife, Maureen (Samantha Spiro).

We are delighted to welcome back all of Moordale's colourful cast of characters, from Headboy Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) who needs to find something new to care about after his swimming career is on hold to Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) who is still trying to process the assault on the bus and seeks assistance from Jean. Steve (Chris Jenks), her boyfriend, tries to be understanding but fails miserably.Anwar (Chaneil Kular) and Olivia (Simone Ashley), Ruby's friends, are puzzled by Ruby's love for nerdy Otis, who has questionable fashion sense.


Maeve's drug-addicted mother, Erin (Anne-Marie Duff), cannot forgive Maeve for contacting social services to have her daughter Elsie placed in foster care. Emily (Rakhee Thakrar) and Colin (Jim Howick), the school's science teacher and conductor of the swing band, are a couple trying to take their relationship to the next level. The proprietor of the caravan park, Cynthia (Lisa Palfrey), and her husband, Jeffery (Joe Wilkinson), deal with loss in various ways. Kyle (Jojo Macari) believes he can fill the void left by Otis as a sex guru.

Apart from Jemima Kirke as Hope, who turns out to be not as cool as she appears (more of a Dolores Umbridge), Dua Saleh as non-binary student Cal and Jason Isaacs as Groff's overachieving brother Peter are newcomers this season.
The warmth, tenderness, humour (both sacred and profane), pop melodies, and believable characters that we instinctively invest in are all there at Moordale in‘Sex Education’ Season 3.
