In the congress’s Fateh rally in Jalandhar, the Rahul Gandhi said that the congress will announce the CM face in Punjab after the due discussion with the congress party workers.

While Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu has all along been questioning the party high command’s decision of not announcing the CM face before the polls, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi too had asserted that announcement would help in reaping benefits.

In the rally, Navjot Sidhu first demanded to reveal the CM face.  If the decision is taken earlier then the congress government will be formed in Punjab with 70 seats.  Sidhu has also said Rahul not to make him a visionary horse. He would rather seek power to make decisions in the party.

After this, CM Charanjit Channi also demanded to announce the CM face to end the long tussle. CM Charanjit Channi said that he had got only 111 days.  He neither slept nor allowed anyone to sleep in these days.  CM Channi said that if the party likes his work, then give him full 5 years also.

Navjot Sidhu said Rahul that it would be wise not to give a chance to outsiders to question the congress party that there is a fight for the CM face.  He cannot harm his party and Punjab for any position.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi said that Navjot Sidhu and CM Charanjit Channi said that whoever leads, the other will render full support to him. This made him very happy.
