The Punjab government is in touch with the Canadian government to extradite Gangster Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar of the Lawrence gang based in Canada. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann informed about his government’s move at the NCB conference in Chandigarh.
Goldy Brar will go through inquiry in singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder case, whose responsibility was taken by Brar. CM Bhagwant Mann said, “I have asked the Canadian government to deport Goldy Brar and other gangsters like him, this move would even ensure the peace and stability in their country.”
Apart from Goldy Brar, gangster Lakbir Singh who launched a rocket attack on the Mohali-based intelligence office is also wanted by the Punjab Police and is currently based in Canada. A total of 6 sharpshooters were involved in Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder. 3 of them Ankit Sirsa, Priyavart Fauji, and Kashish are arrested by the Delhi Police.
Other 2 Jagrup Roopa and Manpreet Mannu have been shot dead in an encounter by the police near the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar, whereas the location of 6th man Deepak Mundi is still unknown. Gangster Goldy Brar has confessed his crime in a video message in Moose Wala’s murder case.
He has earlier said, Sidhu Moose Wala was behind the killing of his friend Vicky Middukhera, in response to this he killed Moose Wala. Brar has also expressed displeasure over the level of support people have shown after his death, He said, “People didn’t like him while he was alive, now they are with him.”
