Sidhu Moosewala’s latest song ‘Vaar’ based on Hari Singh Nalwa has landed into controversy. As per latest reports, his song was accused of allegedly defaming Prophet Hazrat Mohammad. Many people are calling out for a ban on song for hurting religious sentiments of a certain community.

Post the controversy, famous Punjabi singer Jenny Johal stepped in and defended slain singer Sidhu Moosewala. The singer earlier also released a song as a tribute to singer in which she sought justice for his murder. This time, she took to her Instagram handle and posted a story addressing all the fans and people calling out for ban.

While defending Sidhu Moosewala, she stated that Sidhu Moosewala in his song ‘VAAR’ did not defame Hazrat Muhammad but referred to Dost Khan Mohammad who attacked Hari Singh Nalwa’s castle. She requested the people not to judge his song and defame such a legendary singer in the name of religion.

VAAR is Sidhu Moosewala’s second song after death released on the occasion of Gurupurab and became an instant hit. The song has garnered more than 10 million views in just one day of its release
