Congress leader Navjot Sidhu's health, who is detained in Patiala Jail, has worsened. He was then transported under strict security from Patiala Jail to PGI Chandigarh. The Supreme Court had previously penalized Sidhu just Rs.1,000. Following this, the family filed a petition for review, and the Supreme Court reversed the ruling, sentencing him to one year in prison.

Sidhu added that he is also allergic to wheat. That is why he refused to eat the jail's lentils and roti. Instead, he simply ate fruits and salads. For this, Sidhu has filed a plea in court. Following that, the Rajindra Hospital's board of doctors devised a nutrition plan for Sidhu.
