The widely-known and used photo-sharing app, Snapchat, on Friday started trending on Twitter with multiple users complaining that they are not able to send snaps to their contacts. Snapchat down started trending on Twitter with multiple users sharing the screenshots as proof that the photo-sharing application is no working at all. Furthermore, reports of issues began to appear on Down Detector, an app for reporting website outages, at around 7am this morning. According to the website, 76% of issues are related to the app not working. Even True Scoop cross-checked whether Snapchat is down or not. The answer is yes. Snapchat is indeed down.

Notably, Snapchat is yet to issue its official statement that till when the issue will be resolved and inform the people why the Snapchat outage took place.
