The Mumbai Police have opened an investigation and lodged a non-cognizable crime against an unknown individual after Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker received a letter threatening her life.

The star received the letter at her home in Versova, according to the Mumbai Police, and went to the local Versova police station to file a case.
At the Versova police station, a case has been opened against an unnamed individual.

The letter, which was written in Hindi, was filled with insults and threats against Swara's life. The letter stated that the nation's young will not put up with Veer Savarkar's insult. "Is desh ke naujawan" was used as the sign-off (Youth of this country).

Salman Khan, a Bollywood actor, and his father Salim Khan also got a "threat letter" last month.

According to the police, a letter that was not signed and contained threats against Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan was discovered close to Mumbai's Bandra Bandstand promenade.

The message, which was written in Hindi, predicted that Siddhu Moosewala, a deceased singer, will soon die the same way as Salim Khan and his son (Tera Moosawala bana denge).

Salim Khan reportedly discovered the note on a bench where he regularly sits after his morning jog, according to the police. Around 7:30 or 8:00 am, he discovered the letter in his and Salman's names.

Swara went straight to the Versova police station after receiving the letter to file a complaint against certain unnamed people. Additionally, the story implies that the actress' residence was the target of the threat since she is accused of insulting politician-turned-activist Vinayak Damodar Savarkar (widely known as Veer Savarkar).
