Swati Maliwal Assault Case on Friday took a new turn after Aam Aadmi Party launched its scathing attack on its own Rajya Sabha MP. Till no FIR was lodged by Swati Maliwal, AAP leader Sanjay Singh had admitted in a press conference that Swati Maliwal was assaulted and manhandled. However, after Swati Maliwal formally gave her complaint to Delhi Police, AAP leader Atishi in a press conference accused Swati Maliwal of conspiring against Arvind Kejriwal along with the BJP party. Delhi Minister Atishi said that Swati Maliwal was sent to Arvind Kejriwal's house by the BJP and she visited there just to frame the Delhi Chief Minister so that he cane be sent back to jail again. Below is what Atishi said-

"Ever since Arvind Kejriwal has got bail, the BJP is rattled. Due to this, the BJP hatched a conspiracy, under which Swati Maliwal was sent to Arvind Kejriwal's house on the morning of 13th May. Swati Maliwal was the face and pawn of this conspiracy. They intended to accuse the CM but the CM was not there at that time so he was saved. After that, Swati Maliwal accused Bibhav Kumar. In her complaint to the police, she said she was assaulted. The video which has come out today shows her sitting comfortably in the drawing room (of the CM house) and threatening the police officials. She was also seen threatening Bibhav Kumar in the video. Neither her clothes were not torn nor any injury on her head can be seen in the video."

Interestingly, Sanjay Singh had earlier said that Arvind Kejriwal is investigating the assault of Swati Maliwal and he will take appropriate actions. Now, Atishi's statement came after Swati Maliwal's video surfaced on social media from an unidentified source.
